The Party Wall Etc Act 1996 applies to any work carried out on a separating wall between two properties owned by different people, or the excavation of foundations within 3 metres of a party wall or 6 metres for some deep foundations. Party Wall Notices and Awards (link) We can serve notices and issue Party Wall Awards for the person carrying out the work to ensure that works can proceed without interruption. Clarion Consulting can also act on behalf of the neighbouring property to ensure that proposed works do not damage the Party Wall.
